My interest in visual media began when I was fourteen. Even while in high school I enrolled in adult evening school classes in photography. I graduated from City College of San Francisco with an Associate In Arts degree in Photography.

Since college I have had an unbroken history (40 years) of full time employment in media production. For 34 years I was a salaried staff member of University of The Pacific in San Francisco. During this time I produced video, audio, and still photography. Also during that time I serviced freelance clients as my time permitted. Obviously, I have worked with clients in a wide variety of professional areas.

I believe that one must have the ability to recognize quality before one can produce quality. And I believe that this recognition only comes with experience. My work ethic has always been the same.

I have higher personal standards of quality than most clients expect. I am never satisfied with the status quo. Each project evolves new visions and better production techniques. I always try to incorporate these learning experiences into subsequent jobs. In my work, there are always two persons to satisfy, the client and myself.
